Jonathan McHugh has produced over 20 films and TV shows. Most recently, the CMT TV series “Million Dollar Quartet,” the Janis Joplin documentary “Janis: Little Girl Blue,” the Sundance award winning documentary “We Are X”.
For the past decade McHugh has created and produced TV shows, narrative and documentary films with top musical talent. Some of those include Justin Bieber in Paramount Pictures' “Never Say Never," Ludacris in Discovery Channel's “Battleground Earth,” Billy Ray Cyrus in Lifetime’s “Flying By" Sarah Brightman in “Repo: the Generic Opera,” ”Britney Spears in Paramount Pictures “Crossroads” Snoop Dogg’s “Hood of Horror” which he also co-wrote.
McHugh has produced projects with top directors like Morgan Spurlock, Robert Rodriguez, John Chu, Darren Bousman and Oscar nominee Amy Berg. Up coming documentary projects include “Cosplay Universe” and “She Makes Comics”.
Jonathan Platt has overseen production for many longform concert DVD and specials including The Ramones “RAW”, Warp Tour 2003 and 2007, Chicago in Chicago Live, Graham Parker, The World Baseball Classic Special Edition DVD for 2006 and 2009, as well as the Galerians Rion Anime.
Platt has also been involved with the folm development and acquisitions for The Ramen Girl (Britney Murphy), Catacombs (Shannon Sossamon and Pink), REPO The Generic Opera (Alexa Vega and Sarah Brightman), The Hills (Paris Hilton). Jonathan has handled acquisitions of over 30 features, TV shows, and long form concerts.
As a producer, Jonathan has been involved with MLB.com Presents Japan Confidential for BEE TV/NTT Domo, feature documentaries We Are X, Image Revolution, She Makes Comics and Cosplay Universe.
